Wood turning is when the tool (a lathe) is stationary. So, you turn the piece of wood to make cuts. There is a variety of methods how you can work with wood. Wood turning is just one of them. You can create some furniture, tools, souvenirs, etc.
Every student will be provided with knowledge, skill and competence in techniques to be able to work as a wood turner under supervision or independently.
