This woodwork evening course in Dublin is suitable for beginners in woodwork. The course teaches the proper and safe use of woodworking tools and shows how to design and build your own projects. It will start off with a project that will incorporate the main woodworking joints and techniques used in furniture making. Students will learn how to mark out pieces accurately and how to use hand tools and power tools. Participants will learn shaping and finishing skills. Finishers of the course will leave with a confident skill set to use as a stepping stone to further woodwork projects or home DIY.
